In January 2017, PV Shipyard signed a contract to build a jacket manufacturing project for the domestic market. This project is a good result for PV Shipyard in new spring.
PV Shipyard is specialized in manufacturing, repairing and converting all kinds of drilling rig such as jack-up rig, submersible drilling rig, drilling rig, offshore superstructures, floating facilities or transport ships, FPSO, FSO, etc. with the strategic goal of becoming a leading company in this field of Vietnam, creating the opportunity to compete in the region and the world by producing high technology and complex. Facing the economic situation of the oil and gas industry, PV Shipyard always innovates and develops appropriate services. At present, PV Shipyard has invested in and constructed a complex of wharves, workshops and lifting equipment at Sao Mai Ben Dinh – Vung Tau port on the total area 400,000 m2, with wharf length of 156 m and depth of water of 10.2m at low tide time.
In addition to domestic market, PV Shipyard has completed the project for the Indian market. Jackets are installed at a water depth of 22 – 27 m.
After successful, Tam Dao 03, Tam Dao 05 jack-up rig, PV Shipyard continues carrying out various projects in the field of oil and gas and marine. Up to now, PV Shipyard has built 04 jackets for domestic and international markets. The largest base has a weight of approximately 1,600 – ton weight.
