Main Hull Completion

The intensive progress of the 90m jack-up project heats up with series of big achievement these days under all the eyes in and out of PV Shipyard.


Most considerable is successful completion of main hull consisting of 19 blocks, which plays important role and very center of the rig. The hull as a water-tight barge will keep the rig floating and transportable on the water’s surface to the drill site, while allows extension of the drilling package out over the side of the hull by cantilever system. The legs are also lowered to the water level or extended throughout the leg well on the hull.


Other activities that complete to record at a time is assembly of forth section of starboard and forward leg; living quarter and sub-base cantilever. The project is so far going forward within schedule upon utmost care of safety and quality control.
