In July 27, 2012 PetroVietnam Marine Shipyard JS Company (PV Shipyard) has received PVD III drilling rig for an urgent repair. The repair work, mainly on the legs, has been finished within 14 days.
PVD III is a Jack-up rig with model Keppel FELS KFELS B Class, owned by PetroVietnam Drilling Company (PVD) and was delivered to PVD in December 31st, 2009.
In the action plan of 2012, PV Shipyard also received West Vigilant drilling rig for repair. West Vigilant is a Jack-up rig with model Le Tourneau Super 116 Class, was delivered to Seadrill in June 30th, 2008.
