On 21 Oct 2015, PVShipyard attended the 40 years integration and development of PetroVietnam together with more than 80 domestic and international oil and gas enterprises at Saigon Exhibition Conference Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. This event has great significance marking the 40 years construction and development of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam).
At this event, PVShipyard confidently introduced new build jack-up rig industry in Vietnam. With the continuous support from PetroVietnam, PVShipyard has achieved great result in the manufacturing technology for new build and repair rig industry. Mr.Nguyen Quoc Khanh – Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group said: “In the future, PetroVietnam will focus on the science and technology development innovation, transfer of technology in order to finding new resources and overcome difficulties to ensure effective exploitation, improve the efficiency of production and business activities in the coming years”.
Deputy Prime Minister – Mr Hoang Trung Hai, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh- Chairman of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and representatives cut ribbon the opening exhibition.
In parallel with the exhibition activities, the session of Science and Technology Conference had been held until the end of 23 Oct 2015 with the participation of speakers from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, PetroVietnam, Vietnam Petroleum Institute and the international oil and gas companies.
The closing ceremony was taken place at 4:00 pm on 23 Oct 2015, ending the 3 days exhibition in the hope of a new prosperity for PetroVietnam in particular and the whole the Vietnamese economy in general.
