On August 14, 2025, at the Panel Workshop – PV Shipyard (Rach Dua Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the First Steel Cutting Ceremony was solemnly held, officially launching the steel structure fabrication project serving the offshore renewable energy sector.

This project represents a significant step forward for PV Shipyard in the fabrication of large-scale, complex steel structures that meet the industry’s most stringent international standards. It not only demonstrates the company’s technical capabilities but also contributes to enhancing Vietnam’s position in the global supply chain for clean energy.
With more than 17 years of experience in mechanical fabrication for the oil and gas industry, PV Shipyard is accelerating its strategic expansion into the offshore wind sector – a promising new industry. The company focuses on two main pillars: oil & gas fabrication and offshore wind energy, aligning with the global trend of sustainable energy transition.
The project is expected to be completed in early 2026, creating hundreds of high-quality jobs for Vietnamese engineers and workers. This milestone affirms PV Shipyard’s pioneering role in deeper participation within the global renewable energy value chain.
