PV Shipyard Achieves 2.5 Million Safe Working Hours – Launches New Campaign on Fire and Heat-Generating Work Safety

At 7:30 AM on June 26, 2025, Petrovietnam Marine Shipyard (PV Shipyard) solemnly held the “Ceremony to Celebrate 2.5 Million Safe Working Hours – Wrap-up of the Campaign on Working at Height and in Hazardous Zones – Launch of the New Campaign on Fire and Heat-Generating Work Safety.”

The event welcomed full participation from the Company’s Leadership Board, representatives of clients and investors, as well as over 1,000 employees and workers across departments and divisions.

The achievement of 2.5 million safe working hours reflects the unwavering efforts of PV Shipyard’s entire workforce. It is a powerful statement: PV Shipyard does not compromise on risks, consistently acts to maintain an accident-free workplace, and is fully ready to face every challenge with unity and discipline.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Nam Anh – Deputy Director of the Company, on behalf of the leadership, emphasized the critical importance of occupational safety during the production phase. He also called on all employees to uphold the spirit of discipline, proactiveness, and responsibility, committing to absolute safety in all operations.

Following that, Mr. Hà Huy Thọ – Deputy Head of Safety & Quality Department presented the report summarizing the recently concluded campaign “Safe Working at Height and in Hazardous Areas,” highlighting its key results. He also launched the new campaign titled “Fire and Heat-Generating Work Safety” to proactively control risks during peak periods of thermal work.

During the ceremony, the Company’s leadership, clients, investors, and all employees joined together in a resounding chant of “DETERMINATION”, reaffirming that safety is a core value of PV Shipyard.

To recognize employee contributions, the program also awarded commendations and gifts to outstanding teams and individuals. These acts of appreciation aimed to honor those who consistently model safe working practices and help spread the culture of “Safety as a Core Value” at PV Shipyard.

The atmosphere was further enlivened by a lucky draw, bringing joy, laughter, and a renewed sense of connection after the campaign.

With the new safety campaign officially launched, PV Shipyard sets its sights firmly on the shared goal:
