After six months undergone strict documentation review, examination and inspection evaluation, PV Shipyard has just received R-stamp certificate from National Board in accordance with applicable rules of ASME’s Boiler and Pressure Vessels (BPV) code while the U-Stamp certificate is expected to be sent over shortly. Section eight of ASME’s International Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code governs design, manufacture and inspections safety for pressure vessels.
An ASME stamp of approval means the pressure vessel is repaired or manufactured in compliance with international standards and regulations, is regarded internationally as a product of quality. The obtaining of such international certificates for design and fabrication is one of PV Shipyard objectives aiming at providing high level of quality and safety services, all in vertical integration.
