Comes after the Keel Laying Ceremony which held in late September, the first leg section of the 90metre jack-up has been erected today at PV Shipyard fabrication yard under the witness of officials from rig owner Petrovietnam represented by Mrs. Pham Thi Thu Ha (Vice President of Petrovietnam), Drilling Platform Building Board (PBB), subcontractors, top managers and personnel of PV Shipyard.
PV Shipyard Managing Director Mr. Phan Tu Giang expresses sincere thank to overall staffs and engineers who have been contributing all the effort to overcome objections and difficulties. He also announces the project has reached 2 million working hours without LTI.
Mrs. Pham Thi Thu Ha congratulates the achievement obtained by PV Shipyard personnel. She encourages the company to enhance teamwork and spend necessary concentration to get over the challenging afterward to bring the project finish ahead the schedule committing continuous support from Petrovietnam along the execution of the project.
Among important activities of the project, leg erection is considered a difficult part which requires absolute accuracy in alignment and installation. So far PV Shipyard still maintains the rig delivery as committed.
